As part of our Move on project, Lifeline took the initiative to help 14 of our service users to get into private landlord’s properties through acting as guarantor and removing the barriers that homeless people would normally face when applying for housing directly e.g. references, credit checks and the initial deposit.
Due to the level of success with this scheme, Lifeline is also setting apart some fund to help our service user with their initial deposit. We believe “everyone deserve a chance.”

Apart from our in house move ons facilities, Lifeline move on unit also assist the service users to apply and bid for houses in the home choice scheme by the council.
The service users in the move on unit are seen by their worker fortnightly.
